  • Our new CTA feature is live! You can add clickable CTAs to any of your screen recordings.
  • You can share your drops directly to Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn from the drop screen.
  • You can now set your screenshot and screen recording storage settings to external sites. Save your screenshots and recordings automatically to Droplr, Google Drive, Dropbox, or Amazon (S3).
  • Video trimming is now available for all accounts! You can trim the beginning and end of your screen recordings.
  • Droplr’s auto redaction feature has updated. Enterprise accounts can now edit redactions and set whether screenshots are redacted for everyone, no one, or just those outside of your team. You can also set which groups to exclude from viewing the redaction.
    • The audo redaction feature now includes a white list and a black list for admins.
  • Mac App Version 5.9.0 (build 458) has dropped! It includes the following features:
    • Added the ability to pause a recording
    • Fixed a bug with the stop recording button
    • Fixed the share with Droplr option
    • Added the ability to show your webcam while recording
    • Added the ability to switch between recording an MP4 or MOV file
  • Droplr’s Google Chrome extension now includes optional webcam for all screen recordings! You can capture any area of your screen with the option to add narration with webcam.
    • Mac and Windows apps now include webcam recording as well.
  • Droplr users with a custom domain using Google Chrome may experience issues when trying to access their drops. Google has changed how they treat 3rd party cookies and we are updating our code to reflect these recent changes.
  • You may be an existing customer and noticed that our product tiers have increased and changed. If you previously purchased a Droplr product, you are grandfathered into the product you originally purchased. So if you’re an annual or monthly paying Pro customer, you’ll continue to receive the features you originally paid for, month to month or year to year.
  • Some Free users may receive notifications that they exceeded their bandwidth or storage limits. Rather than resetting bandwidth on a monthly basis, we are resetting bandwidth on an annual basis. You can upgrade or we’ll be happy to download your drops and send them to you in most cases.
