How to Record a Screencast with Droplr
- Right click the Droplr icon in your menu bar and select the “Screencast” icon. If you are using the Chrome extension, then click on the Screencast tab and choose whether you want to record your full screen or the current tab.
- Select the area of the screen you want to record.
- Toggle on or off audio recording and select the audio input device. On the Chrome extension, you can also choose whether to add a webcam overlay to your recording.
- Click the start button to start your recording.
- Make your recording, then hit the stop button in your menu bar.
- Your video will be automatically uploaded to your Droplr account in the cloud and a link will be copied to your clipboard. Paste the link in an email, chat window, forum or anywhere to share. Your colleagues will be able to view the video in their browsers or download it to their desktops.
