Droplr + Photoshop

Photoshop Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Editing Tools

The Photoshop editor features over 100 different tools for image manipulation, layering, filtering, 3D manipulation, resizing, etc.
  • Resolution

Photoshop lets you increase the resolution of images.
  • HEX Color Picker

Photoshop’s HEX color picker includes almost every color imaginable as well as an eyedropper tool that lets you sample colors from an image and copy them to another image or layer.
  • File Support

Photoshop supports over a dozen file types such as JPEG, PDF, PNG, TIFF, Large Document Format (PSB) and its own Photoshop format (PSD).
  • Importing and Exporting

It is very easy to import and export pictures from other locations into and out of photoshop using either the drag & drop feature or integrations with other screenshot or image manipulation apps such as Droplr.

Cons:

  • Cost

Photoshop’s cheapest option costs $20.99/month for an annual subscription, or $239.88 if you pay for the full year upfront. Monthly subscriptions cost $31.49/month.
  • Complex Interface

Photoshop’s complex interface can be difficult to understand and use for new users.
  • Computer Memory and Disk Space

Photoshop can take up a lot of memory and disk space, thus slowing down other functions on your computer. To make the most of Photoshop, you need a high-quality graphics card and processor, which may lead to additional costs.
  • Vector Graphics

Photoshop’s support for vector graphics is minimal, especially compared to other image editors.
  • iPad App

Photoshop’s new iPad app has received overall poor reviews and does not work as well as the Desktop app.
