1. Communication

   Slack offers several ways to communicate with your team and those you invite to join. Users can set up channels within Slack that are topic-based or project based or send direct messages to other users, keeping communication in one place. Users are also able to react to posts and use GIFs and emojis as well as create Slack polls.

2. Audio & Video Calls

   Slack makes it easy for users to call team members via audio or video directly from their machine, making communication quick and seamless. All it takes is a couple of clicks to connect with a team member anywhere in the world.

3. Screen Sharing

   Use Slack for screen sharing when it is easier for you to “show” rather than “tell.” Use the built-in pen to highlight important components of whatever it is you’re sharing with your team.

4. File Sharing Integration

   With Slack, there is no need to attach files to emails where you may have to worry about file size. Drag and drop files right into Slack for easy file sharing. If you need to reference the file later, use Slack’s built in search function.

5. Third-Party App Integration

   Slack integrates with a number of other apps you may already be using, such as Droplr or Google Docs.
