Droplr + Trello

Trello Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Visual Workflows

Trello allows users to truly visualize their workflows, acting as a sort of virtual whiteboard with post-it notes. For those who like to plan visually, Trello is a great digital tool.
  • Easy to Use

Trello’s simplicity makes it appealing to users who don’t want a lot of bells and whistles. They want to see what they have on their to-do list in a simple format without a lot of clicking into projects and searching for their tasks.
  • Multi-Platform Use

The Trello app syncs across multiple platforms. From the desktop to the mobile phone to the tablet, a user is always able to track progress on projects, add to their cards, or mark items as complete, whether in the office or on the go.
  • Integrations

There’s no need to give up your favorite third party apps. Trello integrates with apps like Slack and Droplr to allow you to continue using those tools while staying organized and tracking your workflow.

Cons:

  • Data

Like Data? You can’t get it through Trello. If your organization has the need to keep track of things like time spent on projects or employee workload, Trello doesn’t have a way to pull that data.
  • Limited Storage

Storage is limited in Trello. While users can upload attachments, they are limited to up to 50MB per upload if you are a gold level member, but only 10MB per upload if you are a basic member.
  • Editing

Leave something out of a comment or need to edit it? You can’t. Trello doesn’t currently allow users to edit their comments, which means you must add another comment to correct previous comments or provide additional information.
  • Large Projects

For small projects, Trello holds its own. But for larger projects, Trello’s simple build may prove to not provide enough depth or detail to keep it organized.
